三、 教學目標：（一）使學生熟悉中國歷代詩歌發展之歷史與演變
（二）學生能領悟詩歌美學，並學習創作技巧
（三）學生能熟讀名家名作
Teaching goal: ﹝one ﹞Causes the student to be familiar with history and the evolution of all previous dynasties poetry development.
﹝ two ﹞Students can comprehend poetry esthetics and study artistic technique.
﹝three ﹞Students can be familiar with the famous expert celebrated work.
四、 授課方式：本課程以詩歌歷史為經，詩體風格為緯，一方面依時代、詩人、作品先後為次，介紹詩歌之社會性與個性，使學生了解中國詩歌歷史之演變及文化背景。一方面強調性靈美感，啟發學生對詩歌美學藝術的領會，以傳達詩體本身的藝術性。
Teaching way: This curriculum is proceeded by poetry history and poetry style，and by the content of topics. On the one hand，make order on the time with the poet and works； Introduce sociality and the individuality of the poetry, make the student to understand evolution and the cultural context of the poetry history, on the other hand ，emphasize the soul esthetic sense and the ideological content, to inspires the student to poetry esthetics art comprehending, transmits poem itself the artistry.

The first semester：
There are 15 lectures in a semester including introduction & selected readings of Shi Jing, Chu ci, Yue Fu, Nineteen Ancient Poems, Zhu Lin Gi Xian, Tao Yuan Ming and Xie Ling Yun ’s poetry etc. Mainly read selected important famous expert’s work of Tang Dynasty before.
